Bookworm Hienrichs: Welcome, everyone, to this month’s planning session for the next season of the Aether Salon! We’ve been doing this for a long time now, but we’re always glad to see you!
Jimmy Branagh: Something here is crashing me
Fauve Aeon grins
Solace Fairlady: Hello m Clockwinder!
Bookworm Hienrichs: Before we begin, a few housekeeping items:
Bookworm Hienrichs: 1) To ensure you can hear everyone, stand or sit on the patterned carpet.
Bookworm Hienrichs: 2) If you do not have a wearable chair and wish one, please contact Baron Klaus Wulfenbach, or me.
Bookworm Hienrichs: 3) Please remove all lag-feeding thingamajigs you might be wearing.

Bookworm Hienrichs: 6) A transcript of these proceedings will be posted at AetherSalon.blogspot.com.
Bookworm Hienrichs: 7) Tea and treats are set out – help yourself!
Bookworm Hienrichs: And now our host, Baron Klaus Wulfenbach.
Solace Fairlady applauds politely
Fauve Aeon: <3<3 =^^= *<>* =^^=<3<3
Wulfriðe Blitzen claps
Jimmy Branagh applauds
Myrtil Igaly applauds
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: The AEther Salon had already become a New Babbage mainstay event when I was given the honour of continuing it. Fraulein Hienrichs has been a pillar of the Salon, ensuring notices get out on time and speakers are gently reminded with sufficient notice.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: However, the most important part has been those of you who have attended, asked questions, and given the Salon support. We bring your ideas to this stage, and help you to explore this world in which we live.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: That is why this Anniversary month, we use for planning — to find out what you want to hear, and to find out who has ideas to share.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: We already have Clausology planned again for December, and Admiral Beaumont will reprise his presentation on sailing and ships to start off our season next year. We need all those other months filled in, however.
Myrtil Igaly: Yay!!
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: What do you want to see in the Salon this season?
Mosseveno Tenk: you invited boiler elf back?
Jimmy Branagh: I will take May
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: I am sure I did, Herr Clockwinder.
Jimmy Branagh: In the merry merry month of May
Bookworm Hienrichs grins.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach makes note of Herr Jimmy’s request
Dr. Henry Jekyll: The boiler elf in May? That seems a bit odd.
Myrtil Igaly: nooo Jimmy in May
Fauve Aeon giggles
Myrtil Igaly: The Boiler Elf in December
Bookworm Hienrichs: Ahh, Miss Nika! Good to see you.
Solace Fairlady waves quietly to Miss Nika
Mosseveno Tenk: i mean seriously, i just say his name and i crash! he’s EVIL
Myrtil Igaly: Hey Nika
Myrtil Igaly: !
Jimmy Branagh: Mr. Tenk asked me to pass on a note from the Boiler Elf
Bookworm Hienrichs laughs.
Jimmy Branagh: He wants December, of course.
Wildstar Beaumont: Jimmy singing Julie Andrews
Nika Thought-werk curtsies and raises her hand.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: I had hoped you were hastening off to ensure he knew, Herr Clockwinder.
Mosseveno Tenk: what is wrong with you inviting him back?
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Ja, Nika?
Dee Wells waves
Bookworm Hienrichs: Go ahead, Miss Nika.
Nika Thought-werk: Are we taking requests?
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Nothing is wrong, I thought I had done so.
Bookworm Hienrichs: We are.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Sometimes our speakers need reminders.
Solace Fairlady waves and smile to her majesty
Nika Thought-werk: Would any of you want to know of Vaudeville?
Jimmy Branagh: Do you want to know subjects as well as months?
Wulfriðe Blitzen looks up and smiles at the Baronin
Bookworm Hienrichs nods at Jimmy, and also at Miss Nika.
Satu Moreau: Who wouldn’t want to know of vaudeville?
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Bitte, that would help our excellent and generous poster-maker.
Zantabraxus smiles at Klaus
Wulfriðe Blitzen chuckles
Mosseveno Tenk: vaudevill is intersting
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach beams at his Baronin
Jimmy Branagh: Yesh vaudeville good. Vaudeville FRENNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDD.
Nika Thought-werk nods “My next book is of Vaudeville.”
Bookworm Hienrichs: What month would you like, Miss Nika?
Jimmy Branagh: I will be giveng a talk on Secret Societies
Nika Thought-werk: Um … any time after December?
Mosseveno Tenk: i think there’s a deadbeat priest that owes you a lecture from last year.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach edits his calendar
Bookworm Hienrichs: We have January, February, March, and April open.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: There may well be so, Herr Mayor.
Nika Thought-werk: March?
Nika Thought-werk: I like marches, you know?
Bookworm Hienrichs smiles.
Wulfriðe Blitzen: I could do Coffee, but I think its been covered already?
Bookworm Hienrichs: That will be fine.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: March, all right…
Bookworm Hienrichs: We’ve done food in general, Miss Blitzen. Not coffee specifically, though.
Nika Thought-werk curtsies and retreats to the back of the chamber “Thank you!”
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Chemistry for breakfast.
Bookworm Hienrichs: You could work with Miss Ceejay Writer on that one. *chuckle*
Wulfriðe Blitzen: If you need a spot filling later in the year, I’ll offer up a talk from my old lecture notes
Bookworm Hienrichs: I would actually like to claim a spot myself, to talk about Firefighting.
Myrtil Igaly: Who could do it better!
Garnet Psaltery: Indeed
Nika Thought-werk smiles at Miss Hienrichs.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Firefighting! Excellent, when do you want that, Fraulein?
Bookworm Hienrichs smiles.
Dee Wells: Captain of the most successful fire crew ever *cough*
Wulfriðe Blitzen smiles and notes the calender is filling up nicely
Bookworm Hienrichs: I was thinking… I could go for January, but I could get it ready for next month, if Beryl wishes to push out the talk on asylums for later.
Bookworm Hienrichs sticks her tongue out at Miss Wells, then grins.
Dee Wells: XD
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: She is not around to ask, is she.
Garnet Psaltery: They must be doing well; there are plenty of fires
Bookworm Hienrichs: No, she couldn’t make it today.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: See if you can be ready in a pinch, but I will put you down for January.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: The two of you can swap privately and let me know later.
Bookworm Hienrichs nods.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Ach, wait. Fraulein Ceejay has a tentative claim on January.
Bookworm Hienrichs: Oh, she does?
Myrtil Igaly: welcome back Miss Stereo!
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach nods
Solace Fairlady: Welcome back Stereo:)
Nika Thought-werk waves to Miss Nacht.
Stereo Nacht: Thank you!
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: And Ritter Podruly Peccable will present on Courtly Love in February.
Bookworm Hienrichs: I’m emailing with Beryl right now, actually. I’ll check if April works for her.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach nods
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Well, that was quick.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach grins
Stereo Nacht waves back to her clockwork friend
Bookworm Hienrichs: Indeed!
Bookworm Hienrichs chuckles.
Wulfriðe Blitzen opens her notebook and scribbles down some preliminary discussions
Bookworm Hienrichs: We can double-check with Ceejay to make sure January works for her.
Dee Wells waves to Lady S
Bookworm Hienrichs: But I’ll go ahead and be definitely scheduled for next month.
Lady Sumoku waves
Solace Fairlady waves to Smokey
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Excellent.
Wulfriðe Blitzen smiles at Lady
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Welcome, Lady Sumoku.
Fauve Aeon waves
Lady Sumoku quietly pretends she was here the whole time.
Bookworm Hienrichs: Miss Blitzen, can we consider you a back-up speaker, in case someone falls through, but we have some lead time?
Wulfriðe Blitzen nods
Wulfriðe Blitzen: I’m thrilled we have so many new upcoming speakers
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: We can be exceptionally daring and extend into June if we wish.
Jimmy Branagh: Gasp!
Myrtil Igaly: Miss Garnet has been suddenly expelled apparently, there are ban lines and she can’t get back on the maze carpet
Dr. Henry Jekyll: Hm? I was wondering why you never had any salons in the summer.
Solace Fairlady: Summer recess
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Tradition and the lack of summer attendance in general.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: The Steamlands are quieter then, and we would not want to abuse the good-will of our speakers by not having sufficient audience.
Dr. Henry Jekyll: I see.
Myrtil Igaly: All the months are filled except June?
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: June is our overflow month.
Bookworm Hienrichs nods.
Stereo Nacht: Looks like I missed all the fun… 😉
Myrtil Igaly: That was one efficient planning session!
Satu Moreau: Hehe
Stereo Nacht: That I see! 🙂
Dr. Henry Jekyll: So it was.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: I have had some come up to me during the summer with ideas.
Bookworm Hienrichs: If someone really wants to offer something for June, go ahead. *smile* Otherwise, there’s always next season.
Stereo Nacht: Ah…
Dr. Henry Jekyll: Half an hour in and we have a full line up.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach applauds
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Well done!
Wulfriðe Blitzen: Excellent, I look forward to hearing them.
Fauve Aeon: that is really good 🙂
Wulfriðe Blitzen applauds
Myrtil Igaly: I’m gonna go to another meeting, well done everyone!
Stereo Nacht: Well done all!
Myrtil Igaly waves
Lady Sumoku claps.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Heh, do stay and partake of refreshments if you like, and we can plan further ahead for those daring enough.
Stereo Nacht: And since I won’t be interrupting, good evening Queen Zantabraxus, Ms. Solace, Mr. Clockwinder, and all those I have missed while away!
Solace Fairlady: hello again Stereo:)
Fauve Aeon waves to the Baronin
Fauve Aeon: Hello your Majesty
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Dauphine Fauve, I wonder if you would consider presenting on dress some time.
Fauve Aeon giggles…but sir, the dresses do fight back, I can but possibly offer a comparison and a tale of caution in Choosing to wear Big Gowns.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach stares at the miniature airship
Fauve Aeon: I will ponder on it
Satu Moreau: XD
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Sehr gut.
Wulfriðe Blitzen: Hehe
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: What has been everyone’s favourite Salons so far?
Lady Sumoku: Situation Normal, On fire and circling?
Solace Fairlady: it is the Lindenburg, so quite normal:)
AetherSalon is nervous
AetherSalon edges away from the fire
Nika Thought-werk blanches, then starts giggling.
Solace Fairlady: just for AetherSalon:)
Dr. Henry Jekyll: Well… Out of the ones I was able to attend, I think the Freak Show one was the most memorable.
Jimmy Branagh: That’s cuz you met a girl!
Jimmy Branagh chuckles
Dr. Henry Jekyll: NO!
Wulfriðe Blitzen: Ha!
Lady Sumoku laughs.
Lady Sumoku: I liked Inventors, but I may be biased.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach grins
Dr. Henry Jekyll: It was because of how it was presented. Jimmy, you did a good job of setting the mood with your display.
Nika Thought-werk whispers “I liked the one about choc’late.”
Jimmy Branagh: Thank you!
Jimmy Branagh bows
Wulfriðe Blitzen: I thought the Sailing one was good too
Nika Thought-werk nods.
Wulfriðe Blitzen: I missed a couple sadly, but the notes showed they were interesting
Lady Sumoku missed far too many to be any real judge.
Nika Thought-werk: The one about med’cine … with the cutting … was so good … but gruesome.”
Satu Moreau: The one Jimmy did?
Nika Thought-werk nods.
Solace Fairlady: I have missed a lot thanks to work, but I feel slightly less stupid just being here:)
Dee Wells: Hehe
Satu Moreau: Hehe, yeah, that was a good one
Satu Moreau: I think I was only able to catch that and one other this season.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: I think he had quite a few squirming with that one.
Satu Moreau: XD I’m not a day person, this is highly unusual for me.
Jimmy Branagh grins
Nika Thought-werk nods.
Wulfriðe Blitzen smiles
Dr. Henry Jekyll: Hm, I think I would have been interested in the Medicine one.
Jimmy Branagh: brb
Satu Moreau: Heh, it was quite good
Dee Wells: Thank you for the use of the chair, Captain. Take care, everyone 🙂
Dee Wells waves 🙂
Bookworm Hienrichs: Good day, Miss Wells!
Solace Fairlady: safe travels Miss Dee!
Wildstar Beaumont: it was 2-3 years go but I found the salon about vampires particularly intriguing
Wulfriðe Blitzen waves to Dee
Nika Thought-werk waves.
Bookworm Hienrichs: And Dr. Jekyll, you’re welcome to review the transcript on the Medicine Salon on our website. *smile*
Jimmy Branagh: kback
Stereo Nacht is forever indebted for the ones on propriety and title use…
Nika Thought-werk: Miss Book?
Bookworm Hienrichs: Yes, Miss Nika?
Nika Thought-werk: What might be the address for that address?
Nika Thought-werk blinks,
Bookworm Hienrichs: For the website? AetherSalon.blogspot.com
Nika Thought-werk points for the audience.
Jimmy Branagh: Just chatting here now
Jimmy Branagh: oops
Dr. Henry Jekyll smiles and waves.
Bookworm Hienrichs: Is there anything else people would like to bring up?
Jimmy Branagh: Ima go cook fishies
Bookworm Hienrichs chuckles.
Bookworm Hienrichs: Cook enough for all of us?
Jimmy Branagh bows to the Baron, waves to al, and poofs
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach waves
Stereo Nacht: Well, since can’t help in anyway here, the typist has some pumpkin pies in the oven, she’d rather make sure they don’t overcook…
Jimmy Branagh: Later 🙂
Stereo Nacht: Have a good day/evening, all!
Jimmy Branagh: Fish fry at the factory!
Lady Sumoku waves
Bookworm Hienrichs: Good day, Miss Stereo!
Nika Thought-werk waves to those leaving.
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Danke for the donations to the Salon today.
Wulfriðe Blitzen waves
Fauve Aeon: thank you for your time to host sir.
Solace Fairlady: Thank you Herr Baron and Miss Book for running the Salon, and for all the speakers who volunteer their services. I am sure the coming season is going to be another marvellous one!
Nika Thought-werk decides to finish working on her carbine.
Solace Fairlady: And now to depart:) Good afternoon all:)
Solace Fairlady bobs a curtsey
Lady Sumoku waves
Nika Thought-werk curtsies as she starts off as well.
Wulfriðe Blitzen creakily stands up
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Gute Nacht, to those leaving. We have done well in a short time.
Wulfriðe Blitzen waves to those leaving
Lady Sumoku helped mostly by staying out of the way.
Wildstar Beaumont: good night everybody
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Sleep well, Admiral.
Dr. Henry Jekyll: Hm, I better get going, then. Goodbye.
Dr. Henry Jekyll: This was rather productive indeed.
Wulfriðe Blitzen: I think I should make a prim with the calendar on it for passers by to check
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach nods
Lady Sumoku waves some more.
Wulfriðe Blitzen: hm, saying that, I have somewhere….
Bookworm Hienrichs: Well, then, I believe things are completed here. I hope we’ll see you next month!
Baron Klaus Wulfenbach: Danke, Fraulein Bookworm. I shall send a note about an idea that came up during discussion.
Lady Sumoku will try to keep up with her calendar a little better.
Fauve Aeon ponders on what to present on regarding dress for a lighter summer session
Bookworm Hienrichs: Good day, all. I have to get back to dog-sitting. *smile*
Wulfriðe Blitzen heads off to poke at prims
